This is the Birth Story of Reese June who was born on October 9, 2017. This is another story that goes to show that things such a birth plans do not always go accordingly. Little Reese gave her momma a hard time in getting here, she was nice cozy and to warm in her mammas belly. Jessica’s due date came and went and still little Reese had not arrived. When she finally did go into labor her contractions would not get into a pattern, they were just all over the place eventually coming to a stand still as Jessica reached 8cm . After attempting everything possible Jessica and Jason came to the hard decision with the advise of there medical team that enough was enough and Jessica would go in for a c-section. Jessica and Jason were prepped and before we knew it they wheeled Jessica on back to go meet her new little one. I was unable to go back with them due to hospital policy so I set my camera on auto and gave it to Jason. Jason and there anesthesiologist became my eyes capturing some amazing images while I patiently waited with the proud grandparents in the waiting room. Finally we got that news that Reese was here and both her and Jessica were doing great. Soon enough we were allowed back in the room to meet little Reese who ended up weighting 8lbs. 7 oz. She was super pink and as cute as a button with perfect little lips to die for. Mom and dad were so very proud to introduce Reese June to her grandparents and not it is now my pleasure to introduce you to there birth Story please enjoy.
This is a special birth story to me, this is the birth of little Oliver who just happens to be my first nephew by blood. My sister Carrie did an amazing job at bringing her little boy into this world. This was probably one of the hardest labors and deliveries I have yet to witness. Carrie endured over 24 hours of hard natural labor before decided enough was enough and she needed an epidural to help ease her pain . After her epidural she was able to relax little more finally making it to 10cm and ready to push. After 3 long hours of hard pushing and almost ending up with c-section (due to him looking sideways instead of down making him stuck ) she gave a few more minutes as she pushed with all she had left in her heart and soul. Then just like that in along with the Dr.’s help Oliver finally arrived taking his very first breath. It was amazing yet so beautiful and emotional to watch my little sister become a mother. She could not have done it without the loving support of her husband Jarred who was her rock and never left her side convincing her to not give up , and my mother who was her emotional sidekick as mothers usually are and me of course cheering her on as best as i could while trying to document every last detail. I am pleased to present the birth story of Oliver (better get some tissues this one is a tear jerker)!! I love you my sissy poo!!
Leegan Ross Monger was born fast and furious on September 7, 2017 to Nina and Logan, According to his birth plan they were set to deliver at Blooming Babies Birth Center here in Grand Junction Colorado. Nina labored at home with the support of her family all night long, As soon as she arrived at the birth center they had noted that she had developed a sever case of pre-eclampsia and was immediately transfer to St. Mary’s Hospital for the delivery of her son. Once at the hospital the labor and delivery went very very fast. I rushed to the hospital making it just in time for the pushing to begin. The midwifes did an outstanding job at getting Leegan here safely and made sure Nina was also taken care of. Nina is beyond strong and pushed like 3 times before Leegan was finally earth side. This goes to show that not all births go according to what the parents plan but with the love an support of midwifes, doctors, nurses, friends and family anything is possible. I am so happy I made it (that was a close call)! I am thankful that everyone was safe and healthy and was honored to document this night! Here is there birth story enjoy!
This is the Birth Story of Hayden born on May 4th 2017 to his parents Irene and Jonathan Beals and of course little sister Jennalee. This was there second time allowing me to capture there special day as I perviously documented the Birth of there daughter. We all met at the hospital at 7:30am on a beautiful may morning to welcome Hayden into this world. Her labor was a perfect and as good as could be with labor ending in just a few short hours resulting in a tiny little bundle of joy with a head full of blond hair. His sister was very eager to meet her new little brother she loved him from the moment she laid eyes on him, she showered him in kisses and soft touches. I love this little family they are very special and I am honored to watch them grow I can not wait to see what there future will hold.
This is the beautiful After Glow session of Riley. These sessions are perfect for the couple that would like to capture there babies first moments but exclude the actual birth. This beautiful and talented momma is a friend and also and fellow photographer at Courtney Jacobs Photography. I was thrilled that she asked me to capture these moments of her and her cute little family meeting Riley for the first time. Courtney is probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She loves her family more then anything (besides photography lol- just kidding) they are her world and I could feel the love engulfing the room. Thank you Courtney for allowing me to capture your family becoming 5!!
